Bury just shaded it first half. Not much in it though. Bury looking solid at the back and sharp going forward. More of the same second half i hope.

70 Min. Bury are playing really well. Fighting hard.
80 Min. Bury on top now. Had a couple of decent chances.

Much more like it. A slight change in formation with Scowcroft playing much deeper and whilst it took a while, we gradually started looking like the Bury Town we all know and love with swift pass and move football.

Brilliant win yesterday, now that the team has found it's rhythm again, now Bury can kick on and start winning consistently in the league.

I get the impression that author thought that this was all a bit of BTFC gamesmanship - but I reckon I was probably more surprised than he was when I saw the line up.

Did the newly rehabilitated guys survive OK without aggravating recent injuries? Any comments?

Yes, take away the winning goal of any match won by one goal and you get a different outcome. The point of football is to score goals which Bury did and Margate didn't. Bury were the better side as we won!
