Not only does the FA Cup trail start for Team Bury next Saturday (14th) when Ampthill Town visit Ram Meadow for the Extra Preliminary Round but.......................... ..................the FA Cup itself will pay the club a visit on Tuesday 10th at 11am. Come and touch it, have your photo taken with it, or simply admire your reflection in it!

Press and TV were present and, as far as I know, it should be on ITV news this evening!

Great game today, with Team Bury winning 2 - 1 thanks to 2 goals from Ryan Clarke. The first came on 32 minutes and the second two minutes into the second half after a defensive slip up. Ampthill, the older, less-fit side seemed to realise that the only way to get back into the game would be via the physical route - remember the Suffolk Senior Cup Final? After Will Hitter was stretchered off, Team Bury seemed to lose much of their rhythm but nevertheless continued to finish the game 2 - 1 and gain their first victory in the FA Cup competition.

Congratulations to Team Bury, they now go on to play at Felixstowe & Walton who beat Mildenhall 4-1. I think the game is on the 28th (Bank holiday weekend) so it's bucket and spade time again. Whitton Utd drew with Thetford and therefore replay on Tuesday. I assume this means that the scheduled game on Monday (v Whitton) is not now going ahead but if someone could confirm who actually knows that'd be great.

Yes a fine performance with no little provocation from the opposition, who couldn't deal with the pace of Watson, Clark and in the second half Minns. Some talented youngsters in the early days of their careers on show today, who hopefully one day will represent Bury Town. Looking forward to a trip to the coast for the next round!
